Kosovo’s authorities have to pursue the necessary reforms with commitment, and strengthen the rule of law, the fight against corruption, discrimination, unemployment, and structural economic reforms for the benefit of citizens. I continue to strongly support the aspirations of the Western Balkan countries to engage in European reforms and to become EU members themselves. The process of integration will strengthen the democratic institutions of these countries, modernise their economies and thus improve the lives of citizens. Labour Party Members and the S&D Group will be sure to keep enlargement high on the EU’s political agenda."@en1
