"While there are some aspects of the report which would be good for Scotland, such as the emphasis on boosting employment, enterprise and entrepreneurship, it is clear that the European Parliament's agenda has not changed, with a majority still believing in targeted increases to the budget. For this reason I will vote against.
The vote in plenary will be followed by the annual "Spring trilogue" on 30 March. Following the trilogue, the Commission will come forward with a draft budget by the end of May."@en1
