lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) application for Saint-Gobain Sekurit in Belgium, based on the intervention criteria of Article 2(c) under which, in exceptional circumstances, an application may be considered admissible even if other intervention criteria are not met, given that the redundancies have a serious impact on employment and the local economy. In my own constituency in the north of Ireland the closure of Gallahers in Ballymena, which is due to shut permanently by 2017 with the loss of 877 jobs, will have a serious impact on employment and the local economy. My hope is that the EGF can be mobilised in this instance to fund reintegration of these workers into the local labour market."@en1
