"I have voted in favour of this regulation as I believe it will help put the European economy on a path of sustainable, smart and inclusive growth. The creation of European long-term investment funds (ELTIFs) will enable long-term finance to be provided to various infrastructure projects and companies, acting as a driver for growth by delivering infrastructure, machinery, education and research results. It will also ensure that funds are subject to consistent rules across the EU, so that a secure and equal standard is implemented in all Member States."@en1
