lpv:spoken text	"I am pleased to support the application for the Mobilisation of the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund made by ArcelorMittal Liège S.A. The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund was set up to provide additional assistance to workers who have lost their jobs as a result of major structural changes in world trade patterns. ArcelorMittal was a large employer in the Liège region of Belgium and the 1285 redundancies which have resulted from its downsizing have had a significant adverse impact on the local economy. I therefore voted in favour of this report as it is a means by which the EU can give valuable help to the local economy and support the workers affected."@en1
