I come from an island; it is not quite the same as crossing these great areas of mainland Europe. We determine again points raised by Mr van Dalen and others. These trucks have been in use for a long time and they should be allowed to continue along those lines. But in terms of where we are, we have made a decision that they are not appropriate – certainly on British roads – and that is where we are. So thank you for your intervention."@en1
