I am a little surprised that you are totally in favour of longer and larger lorries, particularly when there are really big issues around urban roads and the appropriateness of such lorries on urban roads. It is all very well in the Netherlands and Germany where they have adequate measures to stop longer vehicles using urban roads, but would you not agree that it would be inappropriate to extend this to all Member States when those measures simply are not in place and we know how dangerous these vehicles can be on urban roads?"@en1
