I have campaigned regularly for improved food labelling Given that country of origin labelling is already mandatory for all meat products, it is the obvious next stage to extend that to meat when it is an ingredient in food products. As a strong supporter of farmers in the UK and the ‘Buy British’ campaign, I welcome any legislation that encourages clarity in labelling and helps both the customer and producer."@en1
