"The 1980 Hague Convention provides the private international law framework for recovery of abducted children. Its aim is to ensure that judicial and administrative cooperation is effectively applied to safeguard the prompt return of the child and the mutual enforcement of judgments regarding custody and access rights. The vote refers to the acceptance of Morocco, which has joined the Convention in recent years. This agreement will benefit children and families in Wales so I voted in favour."@en1
