lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of the Hautala report because The Hague Convention of 1980 on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction is an essential instrument for protecting children belonging to parents from different states that exploit potential conflicts of competence between their national courts in order to secure custody of their child. I therefore call on all EU Member States to formally accept the accession of Morocco to the Convention, seeing that this is a crucial step to ensure effective implementation and enhanced international cooperation to protect children who fall victim to international abduction. I do urge the Commission to continuously monitor whether the necessary infrastructure is in place to ensure Morocco is in a position to fully implement the Convention."@en1
