lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, as the Commission and Council are aware, before we get to Paris in December the UN will be considering the SDG process at the Summit in September in New York. As they also know, Goal 13 of the Sustainable Development Goals is to tackle climate change. So I have two questions for them: How are you linking these two processes, both within the Commission and the Council? For colleagues on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, every country on the planet will have to adopt the Sustainable Development Goals, and implement them: it is not like the Millennium Development Goals. Yet we are not talking, even in this Parliament, in those terms. We are not linking the two things together. So I particularly want to hear from the Commission how they are working and how this will impact on the finance for development, because we can be certain that, even if we are not linking these issues, the G77 are linking them, and success in New York will determine success in Paris."@en1
