lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, we need investment. We need private sector investment and investors, entrepreneurs and small businesses need to know that we are on their side. My email box is full of horror stories of small business which have shut and stopped trading in the fasting growing sector of our economy: digital entrepreneurs. Our new VAT rules are meant to be for big companies trying to avoid taxes but, for small companies, they are too complicated, too expensive and do not work in the digital age. They do not work for microbusinesses. They need an exemption. I say to the Council, the ball is in your court. Please do not just talk about changing this. Do not just think about changing it. That will not be taken seriously. Council, please, give microbusinesses an exemption. Just do it."@en1
