"I think there is a whole range of options for dealing with aggressive tax planning which have actually been put on the table in the past but – as I mentioned before – have been blocked. So if, for example, we could have common definitions around taxable assets and activities across the EU, that would solve many of the problems. If we could have more transparency around where profits are generated, and if we could have better enforcement of agreements reached and wider freedom of manoeuvre for the Code of Conduct Group within the EU, that would go a long way towards dealing with some of these problems. We have an opportunity now, following LuxLeaks, and we need to make use of that opportunity."@en1
