"This is a vote on consent for the Association Agreement between the EU and Georgia. If Georgia wants to enter into an AA with the EU then it is their sovereign right to do so. However, I believe agreement is likely to be to the detriment of the people of Georgia and will be unhelpful in de-escalating tensions in the region. For these reasons I abstained."@en1
