"Of course we do not have full disclosure and that is why I described Dianne Feinstein as a brave person. When Elmar Brok and I met her, we were aware that we were before a brave senator. We are parliamentarians, and when we were doing the CIA inquiry in the European Parliament and people were denigrating that inquiry, we were aware that we were dealing with our own governments – sometimes we were Members of Parliament with our own government in office – and we were investigating . Of course there is not full disclosure. We have to be brave in those situations and try and get as much information as possible. Sometimes that will be second-hand and in a secondary way, as I said at the beginning, but we have to do it because without that accountability we cannot get the truth. But let me say finally that we still have European Union citizens in prison today who are completely innocent and they should be free. That is why this is such a vital and important issue and all parliamentarians should be representing them if nothing else."@en1
