"I voted in favour of the EGF application from Odyssefs Fokas in Greece where 600 workers lost their jobs. I am pleased to see the Greek authorities using the possibility to include 500 NEETs in this application also. The high level of youth unemployment in Greece means that it can use this option within the EGF. The overall fund is EUR 10.7 million with a EUR 6.44 million contribution from the EGF. 70% of this money is going to training, retraining, vocational training, business start-up and occupational guidance, with 30% earmarked for allowances such as job search allowance, training allowance and mobility allowance."@en1
