"This resolution rightly notes that economic growth alone cannot bring true benefits to the whole of society. Social justice must also be at the heart of policy-making and Europeʼs citizens must be fully involved. At present Scotland must endure a Tory Westminster government for whom social justice is anathema. This state of affairs was fully supported by their friends in the Labour party during the recent referendum. It is essential that Scotland gains real powers in future UK constitutional reforms so that a Scottish Government can implement social and economic policies aimed at the people of Scotland."@en1
