The EUR 1 426 800 in EGF aid approved by Parliament will support the reintegration in the labour market of workers made redundant in STX in the Rauma region. It concerns a total of 565 beneficiaries. The Finnish authorities argue that the global maritime industry changed dramatically in recent years and that in this global context the EU market share has plummeted. The UK has never made an application under this fund. UK workers therefore receive none of this support."@en1
