Railways form a key part of the EU’s infrastructure and are thus an important tool for economic development. At present key aspects of my own country’s rail policy are controlled from London where matters of Scottish concern are a low priority. It is essential that the Scottish parliament gains full control over Scotland’s railways so that we can encourage proper development in line with our EU partners."@en1
