In my country we are already spending GBP 21 million each and every day on foreign aid, and this is on top of the money we are contributing to the EU budget which goes towards development aid. No one would object to disaster or emergency aid, but I am afraid that much development aid is objectionable. Instead of the many priorities that we see in this report, maybe we should have one priority, which should be to eradicate malaria – the world’s biggest killer."@en1
