Because there is a great urgency to implement actions that address the concerns and needs of EU citizens, we need change and a coordinated approach. Therefore, I believe it is in the interest of my constituents that the new Commission makes swift progress in drawing up a plan for jobs and growth that establishes how the EUR 300 billion promised by Mr Juncker will be deployed to increase economic investment into our regions. One of the top priorities has to be to skill up our young people and urgently review certain detrimental policies implemented by the outgoing Commission."@en1
