We have shortages in ICT skills of somewhere between 300 000 and 700 000; we have a great shortage in science, technology, engineering and maths. So we do not have floods of people coming to take jobs – I know the fear that some parties thrive on – but what we are seeing, and you must have seen it in the West Midlands, is youth unemployment coming down. We are pursuing the right policy."@en1
