lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, as we prepare for the eurozone summit, I think it ought to be reminding this House of some of the statistics that the politicians and Commissioners and the senior people will be looking at on that day. GDP across Europe is 0.1 %; the share of world GDP is falling year on year. Unemployment sits around 11.5 % for the peoples of Europe. In countries like Croatia it is 17 %, 15 % in Portugal; in Spain it is 23 % and in Greece it is 25 %. That is very good news for those people, is it not, when they know people will be sitting in large cars drinking champagne and working out how they are going to make their jobs better? I hear one of their supporters over there now. We also look at labour costs rising; unemployment rising; private investment falling. I say to you, ladies and gentlemen and Members of this House: if it looks like a failure, it is a failure. If it smells like a failure, it is a failure. But all they will do at this summit is say: ah, the sweet smell of success!"@en1
