"This resolution was drafted in response to the conclusions drawn from the Commission’s consultation to find the ‘Top Ten’ most burdensome legislative acts for SMEs. The consultation identified a number of pieces of legislation that Conservatives have long called for reform on, such as those on working time, temporary workers and the REACH chemicals law. I strongly support this resolution which recognises the urgency of alleviating regulatory burdens on SMEs and calls on the Commission to do more as part of a systematic and horizontal policy approach on minimising the burden of EU regulation."@en1
