"I voted in favour of this report. It relates to Council regulations aimed at preventing or minimising accidental catches and the death of marine mammals such as whales, dolphins and porpoises in EU waters. The number of whales, dolphins and porpoises has decreased dramatically, with thousands dying every year, including via habitat degradation, collisions with vessels and underwater noise pollution."@en1
