lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, as the conclusion of the agreement on the establishment of the Unitary Patent Court (as part of the arrangements creating the new patent for Europe) has necessitated an updating of the Brussels I Regulation. The Brussels I Regulation provides for the circulation and enforcement of judgments handed down in one Member State throughout the Union, on a number of civil law matters. In line with the aim of the Brussels I Regulation, the Unitary Patent Court system will provide for effective cross-border treatment of disputes, and the choice of court rules which apply normally must be clarified in terms of their application to the common court established for the unitary patent, which will hear appeals."@en1
