"On behalf of myself and the European Parliamentary Labour Party, we voted to support the proposal on consumer products because safety requirements for consumer products vitally needed to be reviewed and updated. It is regrettable that construction products were not included in the final scope, especially with regard to origin labelling. However, this report will introduce more effective and quicker action in the case of risks to consumers’ health and safety."@en1
