"I voted against this report as it does not bring sufficient improvement in terms of consumer protection. The report only allows EU products to be labelled with reference to the EU or a Member State, therefore products would not be labelled ‘Made in Walesʼ, but rather ‘Made in the UKʼ. We are proud of the excellent produce from Wales and labelling is an important form of marketing. It is beneficial for our economy to sell Welsh produce."@en1
