lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report because we need to strengthen the existing standards on animal and plant health. I agreed with the proposals, which largely delivered on a modernised and simplified approach to dealing with these issues. I also approved of the fact that it cut food chain legislation from almost 70 separate pieces to just five. We need to deliver on animal welfare and make sure the EU has the highest standards we can achieve, but it should be done with the least impact on farmers."@en1
