Representing less than 1[nbsp ]% of the EU’s budget, agencies are vitally important to delivering the goals and results of EU policies. While some improvements still need to be made, I am pleased that agencies are now sharing best practice, and also support services when possible, and working closely with the Commission on key issues to bring benefits to EU citizens. Following last year’s decision to initially postpone the discharge for the European Medicines Agency, I welcome the agency’s efforts to implement corrective measures."@en¹
