lpv:spoken text	"I welcome the adoption of the European Parliament’s resolution on the EU’s 2013 report on policy coherence for development (PCD). All EU policies that affect developing countries must take full account of EU development policy objectives. We need to eliminate inconsistencies between different EU policy actions that have negative repercussions for developing countries. I do regret that the Commission did not come forward with a communication, as in past years, but instead issued a working document. I would hope that this does not mean that PCD is moving down the Commission’s political agenda. I would like to see concrete follow-up to one of the calls made in the last EP resolution on PCD in October 2012, for which I served as the Employment and Social Affairs’ Committee’s rapporteur, which is reiterated in paragraph 9 of this resolution, namely structured annual meetings between national parliaments and the European Parliament.."@en1
