It highlights the fact that clear progress in EU-Pakistan relations is linked to improvements in Pakistanʼs human rights record, particularly in regard to bonded labour, child labour, womenʼs rights, freedom of speech and protection of minorities. By calling on Pakistani authorities to effectively implement the 36 ILO Conventions it has ratified, this report has my full backing, in particular with regard to allowing the operation of trade unions, eradicating child labour, and improving the conditions and safety standards of workers, focusing especially on eradicating the exploitation of three million female domestic workers."@en1
