"I voted against the Daerden report on the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Comunidad Valenciana textiles. I am against the EGF on principle because it is an attempt by the EU to make itself relevant by the use of a fund which is not sufficiently controlled and is certainly not adequate for its supposed aim. It is a waste of taxpayers’ money."@en1
