While the internal market should reduce bureaucracy, I believe that this new law will fail to simplify rules and will make it more difficult for consumers to know what their rights are. While in theory, a common European sales law should provide consumers and businesses with a single set of rules that co-exist with national rules already in place, I do not believe that this proposal in its current form will strengthen consumer rights."@en1
