lpv:spoken text	"I have campaigned for many years for more effective legislation to prevent domestic violence and I voted in favour of this report. Currently, there is no comprehensive strategy to combat violence against women. Around 20-25 per cent of women in Europe have experienced physical violence at least once during their adult lives. The report requests the Commission to propose, by the end of 2014 measures to promote and support the work of Member States in preventing violence against women and girls. I am pleased to support the action this week of my Party of Wales colleague Elfyn Llwyd MP in leading a cross party bill in the House of Commons that would criminalise all aspects of domestic violence."@en1
