lpv:spoken text	"The EU is the world’s largest donor of humanitarian aid and when there are specific humanitarian crises, I believe that the deployment of ‘EU Aid Volunteersʼ is vital. This ‘Corpsʼ will not be involved in any armed conflicts or peace resolution processes but will be there to help those in vulnerable, disaster-stricken places. NGOs will be able to take part in the scheme, but only once approved by the Commission, and then specific training of volunteers will take place. I am pleased that an interim evaluation of the programme will take place and believe that the budget for this needs to be monitored carefully throughout."@en1
