"I voted in favour of this report as I support the creation of a voluntary humanitarian corps to be deployed only in response to humanitarian crises, and never armed conflicts. Strict budget monitoring means that this body will provide the EUʼs humanitarian action with genuine added value, helping those in need. Eighteen Conservative MEPs abstained from voting for this proposal, and six UKIP MEPs voted against."@en1
