lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, I welcome this long-awaited agreement on reducing CO emissions from passenger cars by 2020. It gives crucial certainty to car manufacturers across Europe. If we want car manufacturers to invest in low carbon technologies, we need to give them this certainty. Reducing CO emissions from passenger cars is vital to fight against air pollution and climate change and also to reduce fuel costs for consumers. We must remember that cars are not produced for one single country, but for a single market of 500 million consumers, as well as for export to the rest of the world, so we need action at an EU level for this to be effective. For all of these reasons we need this agreement adopted today."@en1
