lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, like the previous speaker, I voted in favour of this report because it is a very innovative report. Essentially it is an agreement that is long overdue, between the European Union and our neighbour, Switzerland. As the previous speaker has said, Switzerland is the European’s Union’s third largest economic partner and the second largest FDI recipient. Therefore, it is important that we have sufficient cooperation for the benefit of the EU’s economy and also for the economy of Switzerland. The similarity of rules and practices between the European Union and Switzerland would certainly aid the implementation of the agreement. The European Union should learn from this experience and then, hopefully, proceed with concluding other second-generation agreements with other similar partners."@en1
