Encouraging dialogue with national parliaments helps to address the EU’s democratic deficit and re-addresses the balance, allowing us in Wales, through the National Assembly for Wales, to have another means of scrutinising EU laws. Increased participation will result in better EU law-making, bring the EU closer to its citizens and reduce red tape."@en1
