I am aware that this was an important issue for local authorities in the UK. I hope that the introduction of ‘integrated projects’ which converge various EU, national and private funds in support of major EU environmental legislation will improve key areas such as water, waste, air quality and nature protection. The more generous co-financing rates for these projects will also aid the protection of the environment."@en1
