"The Europe for Citizens Programme will give citizens the opportunity to interact and participate in constructing an ever closer Europe. I voted in favour of this programme because I believe in enhancing tolerance and mutual understanding between European citizens, whilst respecting and promoting cultural and linguistic diversity. I am pleased to see the reinforcement of Active European Citizenship through further town twinning, citizensʼ projects and support measures. I strongly support measures for an active European remembrance, and am happy to see an active civil society in Europe being promoted."@en1
