lpv:spoken text	"The Erasmus programme has been one of the clearest manifestations of the value the European Union has had for its citizens. Every year, thousands of students get the opportunity to spend an academic year studying in a university in a different member state. However, anyone who has had immediate experience of the programme would confirm that the Erasmus programme provides far more than just academic opportunities to its participants; it provides students with a rich cultural education. I voted in favour of this report to help sustain the programme, by guaranteeing more funding for the programme, to broaden its reach, by opening a proportion of its funding for sport and extending its masters element, and to allow more of Europe’s youth to avail of it, by implementing a student loan guarantee facility."@en1
