I recently visited Cardiff Metropolitan University to hear about the excellent work being done there in relation to Erasmus Mundus – sharing Walesʼs excellence with the world. I am proud that over seven hundred students and staff go from Welsh colleges to study in other EU countries each year. I know from the number who do periods of work experience in my office in Brussels that it is of great benefit to them personally and to our nation as a whole. I am pleased that the new programme attaches the same importance to informal learning and training, literacy, apprenticeships and the transition from learning to work. I look forward to seeing many in Wales benefit from Erasmus for All."@en1
