"The position of the Greens/EFA Group has always been in favour of developing evidence-based law enforcement, preventing the stigmatisation of migrants and ethnic minorities and prioritising white collar and economic crimes as those inflict the highest social harm. For this reason it is very welcome that this report covered the related issues of corruption and money laundering, which highlight the links between organised crime and tax havens. However, the report failed to provide a convincing answer to the challenges presented by organised crime, corruption and money laundering. We cannot oversimplify the various threats posed and recommend a one-size-fits-all approach based on repression and surveillance. I abstained on the final vote as it endorsed an EU Passenger Name Records System and EU Terrorist Finance Tracking System. I do not believe my constituents in Wales would agree with this."@en1
