"During my time as an MEP I have worked on several waste issues, including this one. I supported this report to prevent so-called ‘beachingʼ or the dumping of ships unsafely in other countries. Wales has effective policies on waste and I know that my constituents have an interest in these issues. It is right that the EU adopts legislation on this as EU companies own 37 % of the global shipping fleet."@en1
