lpv:spoken text	"Madam President, this proposal is very important for Europe, for the security of its borders and for the prevention of unnecessary and tragic loss of life at sea. The UK has massive experience and expertise in naval activity and in intelligence-sharing. It is therefore rather disappointing to me that my Spanish friends in the PPE Group are attempting to exclude the UK from this measure in order to make a territorial point. I hope this House and those friends themselves realise that the UK’s valuable contribution and involvement in the future of Eurosur is more important than any temporary disagreements that we may have between our two states."@en1
