lpv:spoken text	"Mr President, as the Member of the European Parliament representing Gibraltar, I have read this report with great interest. Gibraltarian territorial waters are in the Mediterranean. They have been a constant target of incursions by Spanish fishermen for many years. Despite much effort from the Gibraltar Government, these difficulties have not been resolved. In fact the Spanish Government has now withdrawn its participation from established three-way talks with the Gibraltar and UK Governments on this and many other subjects. I therefore welcome this report and its call for the peaceful settlement of disputes concerning maritime areas and the delimitation of maritime boundaries in conformity with the rights and obligations of Member States. I call on all EU Member States to respect the rights of all EU citizens – including the citizens of Gibraltar – in this area."@en1
