lpv:spoken text	"I voted in favour of this report, which looks at how regional and local authorities are affected by budgetary constraints in the EU’s structural funds expenditure. In addition to cutbacks at Member State level, regional and local administrations are also facing difficult financial decisions. It is vitally important that regions, such as my constituency of Wales, continue to invest in smart, sustainable and inclusive growth in the next round of structural funds, and I therefore I support this report’s proposal to ensure the greatest possible flexibility for the national co-financing of EU expenditure. I also welcome the analysis that will be undertaken looking into what impact the current crisis has had on the capacity of regional and local authorities to pursue growth and jobs objectives."@en1
