lpv:spoken text	"At a time in which determined efforts are being made back home in my own Member State to bring our deficit down and to generate growth and stability in our UK economy, it is vital that I am able to assure my constituents that the same smart and considered investment of taxpayers’ money is being ensured across the European Union by its authorities. I am concerned that this report calls for the European Commission to investigate how it could be feasible for public spending by Member States on co-financing EU Cohesion projects to be excluded from the Stability and Growth Pact’s financial disciplines on debts and deficits. Member States must uphold agreements made as a part of this Stability and Growth Pact if we are to ensure better spending and because I am concerned by some of these recommendations made in this report today I have voted against it."@en1
